[NTM 10,805] Variation of specifications89 

89
(1) The Director may at any time, where he or she thinks fit, modify, cancel or otherwise vary any specification which he or she has designated.

(2) Any modification, cancellation or other variation of any specification shall be published by the Director in accordance with regulation 88.

(3) Any document containing any modification, cancellation or other variation of any specification shall clearly denote that it is a modification, cancellation or other variation of a specification already designated.
(4) Where in the opinion of the Director a modification, cancellation or other variation cannot be feasibly published in accordance with regulation 88, the Director may publish such modification, cancellation or variation in the Gazette, but shall in any event include such modification, cancellation or other variation in the next document published in respect of that measuring instrument or class of measuring instrument.

(5) Where there is any inconsistency between specifications contained in any documents published under this Part, specifications contained in the last published document shall be taken to be the specifications designated for the time being for the purposes of this Act.
