The Fiji legal units of measurement of physical quantity that shall be used for stating the price per unit of measurement of a physical quantity of an article (other than one that is pre-packed) offered, exposed or advertised for sale shall be as set out hereunder—
  • (a)in the case of mass—
    • (i)one kilogram;
    • (ii)one kilogram, with another reference to an integral number of kilograms or an integral number of grams;
    • (iii)an integral number of tonnes; or
    • (iv)if the article is a precious metal, one gram or one troy ounce;
  • (b)in the case of volume—
    • (ii)one litre, with another reference to an integral number of litres or an integral number of millilitres; or
    • (iii)an integral number of cubic metres;
  • (c)in the case of linear measurement—
    • (i)one centimetre;
    • (ii)one metre; or
    • (iii)one metre, with another reference to an integral number of metres or an integral number of centimetres;
  • (d)in the case of superficial measurement—
    • (i)one square centimetre;
    • (ii)one square metre; or
    • (iii)one square metre, with another reference to an integral number of square metres;
  • (e)the length, width, thickness, diameter or other linear measurement of an article specified in the Table to this regulation may be advertised, offered or exposed for sale by the millimetre, centimetre or metre—
