(1) For the physical quantity frequency, the Fiji legal unit of measurement is the hertz, symbol Hz.
(2) The hertz is the frequency of a regularly recurrent phenomenon that repeats itself once each second.
(3) When not in use for trade, permitted multiples and submultiples of the hertz are the units specified in Table 12.
