[FNPF 13,420] Early withdrawals28 

28
(1) For the purpose of section 50(2)(d), an application for the withdrawal may be made by the person nominated by the FNPF member to make his or her funeral arrangements.
(2) For the purpose of section 59(1)(a)(iv) of the Act, the following matters are prescribed—
  • (a)to assist with unemployment;
  • (b)subject to the approval of the Board, to assist with dealing with the effects of a natural disaster as defined in the Natural Disaster Management Act 1998;
  • (c)subject to the approval of the Board, and consistent with guidelines approved by the Board, to assist with dealing with the effects of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic as characterised by the World Health Organization on 11 March 2020.
