(1) The Codex Alimentarius, made by the Codex Alimentarius Commission, for standards and codes regarding food safety and any other matter under this Act are deemed to be regulations made under this Act unless modified by the Board by regulations, but such regulations must not restrict or disadvantage free trade.
(2) If there is a conflict between this Act (including the regulations made under it) and the Codex Alimentarius, this Act or the regulations prevail.
