If a member of the Committee (including the Chairperson) is, or is to be, a member of the Committee for the purposes of a hearing or proceedings and the member has acquired an interest (whether pecuniary or otherwise) that could conflict with the proper performance of the member’s function in relation to the proceeding, the member must disclose their interest and take no further part in the matter.
