[COM 18] Statement to be delivered to Registrar by company on ceasing to be private company18

If a company, being a private company, alters its articles of association in such a manner that they no longer include the provisions of the articles of association required under section 16, the company shall, on and from the date of the alteration, cease to be a private company and must deliver to the Registrar a statement in the prescribed form within 14 days of ceasing to be a private company.
