The performance standards for automatic radar plotting aid should comply with IMO Resolution A 422(XI) for equipment installed before 1 January 1997, IMO Resolution A 823(19) for plotting equipment installed on or after 1 January 1997 and IMO Resolution A 820(19) for navigation radar equipment used for high speed craft.
