- (a)a declaration by the owner of the apiary of origin stating that, to the best of his or her knowledge, the bees included in the shipment and the apiary from which they came are free from disease; and giving his name, his address and address of the apiary;
- (b)a certificate from an officer of the Ministry of Agriculture of the country of origin whose duties relate to apiculture, certifying that the bees—
- (i)have been produced in an apiary which has been officially registered and inspected in accordance with the relevant legislation of the country or state of origin;
- (ii)are from an area that is free from American Foul Brood Disease (Bacillus larvae); European Brood Disease (Strepto-coccus Pluton) and other bacterial or fungal diseases;
- (iii)are from a country or state that is free from AcariNe disease (Acarapis Woodii internus) Varroa Disease (Varroa Jacob-soni), Tropilaelaps clariae and bee louse (Braula coeca).
