(1) Pursuant to section 45(1)(j) of the Act, an employer shall keep an Employment Register, comprising the Wages and Time Record for workers including children, required under regulation 17, the Record for Labour Management Consultation and Cooperation Committee required under the Employment Relations (Labour Management Consultation and Cooperation Committees) Regulations 2008, and additional employment particulars specified in subregulation (2).
(2) As part of the Employment Register of a worker, the employer shall provide a record of additional employment particulars specified in Form ER8 set out in Schedule 1.
(3) An employer must make available the information in the Employment Register or any part of it upon request by the Permanent Secretary within 14 days.
(4) The Employment Register required to be kept by an employer under subregulation (1) shall also include any other information prescribed to be kept by an employer under any provision of the Act or its Regulations.
(5) The Permanent Secretary may extend the compliance date in special circumstances.
