[LG 108,360] Dance halls to be licensed29

(1) No person shall, within the town keep or use or permit to be kept or used any dance hall without first obtaining from the Council a licence on payment of an annual fee prescribed by the Council.

(2) The premises to be used as dance hall are to be of sound construction and when required by the Council, the hall shall be air-conditioned and made soundproof and the premises shall be to the satisfaction of the Council, provided that a licence may be granted for any period not exceeding 30 days upon payment of a fee of $20.

(3) Notwithstanding paragraph (1), no dance hall may be used on a Sunday, on Good Friday or on Christmas Day.
