(1) The Standard does not apply to refrigerating appliances imported before 1 January 2012, which may be sold without complying with this Order or compliance with the MEPS and labelling requirements of the Standard.

(2) However, the importer or seller of the refrigerating appliances must prove that such appliances were imported before 1 January 2012.
