[TV 28A] Offence to engage unlicensed broadcasting station or online streaming service28A

28A

(1) No person may engage the services of an unlicensed broadcasting station to broadcast any broadcast matter by television, or unlicensed online streaming service to broadcast a live sporting event through online streaming, as required under this Act.

(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) is guilty of an offence under this Part and, on conviction, is liable to a fine not exceeding $100,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both.
